About
Hammerspoon bridges macOS and a Lua scripting engine, with extensions for apps, windows, the mouse, low-level keyboard events, the clipboard, audio devices, screens, batteries, Wi-Fi, and more. You write a config in ~/.hammerspoon/init.lua that connects events to actions: bind a hotkey to a set of window moves, run commands when you join your home network, or show an alert when the battery runs low. Out of the box it does nothing, so plan on writing some code, or start from the ready-made plugins called Spoons. It needs macOS 13 or later.
