Updatest scans the apps already installed on your Mac and works out where each one publishes its updates, reading metadata from Homebrew, the Mac App Store, Sparkle, Electron and GitHub Releases. Everything lands in a single list of pending app and command-line updates, with a detail pane showing version numbers, release notes, download URLs, bundle identifiers, signing and notarisation, and then updates in one click. Apps that were installed by dragging are the interesting case: a guided adoption flow moves them onto Homebrew casks so they can be tracked from then on. It works offline against what is on the machine, and an optional network feature shares version data anonymously to catch updates other sources miss. It needs macOS 15 or later.
