Antigravity is Google's bet that an editor should be run by an agent rather than by typing alone: it opens on a home screen where you describe a task, then works in a VS Code-shaped editor with an agent panel beside the code that shows what it plans to do, what it changed and why. Edits arrive as a reviewable diff with inline comments, so a change can be accepted, amended or rejected, and longer jobs produce a plan artifact you approve before anything is written. Models from Gemini and Claude are chosen per conversation, tab completion and command requests are unlimited, and the free tier is generally available with weekly limits that Google AI Pro or Ultra raise. It is closed source and needs macOS 12 or later.
