About

FSNotes is a native notes app that saves every note as a Markdown or plain text file, so nothing is locked into a proprietary database. It stays quick with libraries of more than 10,000 notes and supports multiple folders, external editors, iCloud Drive, Dropbox and optional Git backups. Tags, wiki-style links, AES-256 encrypted notes, syntax-highlighted code, Mermaid diagrams and MathJax are built in, and notes can be shared as web pages. It is MIT licensed, with paid Mac App Store and iPhone versions that fund development. Needs macOS 12.4 or later.
