About
Obsidian stores notes as plain Markdown files in a local folder, so they stay on the device and remain readable without the app. Notes link to one another, a graph view and Canvas help map those connections, and thousands of community plugins and themes change how it works and looks. The app is free, with optional paid add-ons for end-to-end encrypted Sync and web publishing.
