About
Itsytv puts an Apple TV remote in a small floating panel you open from the menu bar, with a d-pad, playback buttons, volume and a now playing view with artwork and progress. You can steer the TV with the arrow keys, type straight into text fields on the TV from your Mac keyboard, and launch or reorder installed Apple TV apps from a grid. It pairs with several Apple TVs, supports global hotkeys per device, and exposes AppleScript and Shortcuts actions for automation. It talks to the TV over the local network using the same protocol as the Siri Remote, with credentials kept in the Keychain. Needs macOS 14 or later.
