About
JigTail is a small menu bar app that waits until you have been idle for a set time, then nudges the pointer two points and back at a regular interval so the Mac does not sleep or show you as away. It stops the moment you touch the keyboard or mouse again. A conditional mode keeps it working only while a chosen app is running, the CPU is busy, or Music or Spotify is playing, which suits long renders, builds and downloads. It also holds off idle sleep while on, but leaves lid-close and manual sleep alone. No network access, analytics or account. Needs macOS 13 or later on Apple Silicon and the Accessibility permission.
