Ajar
About
Ajar makes the Mac respond to what you are doing. Lid Angle Sync ties screen brightness, keyboard backlight and system volume to how far the lid is open, so you shape a single point on a curve and the rest of the ramp falls into place, with external displays able to keep their own offset. Awake covers the other half: rather than holding the machine open for a whole terminal session, it watches for Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI actually working and keeps the Mac up only while an agent is mid-task, with your own rules for apps, Wi-Fi networks, external drives, power source and closed-lid setups. Both halves are configured in one small window and stay entirely on the Mac. One purchase covers three Macs. It needs macOS 15 or later.
