About

LocalCan gives a development machine names instead of ports: projects get .local domains with automatic HTTPS, and those same services can be exposed on stable public HTTPS or TCP URLs, so a Stripe webhook, an OAuth redirect or a colleague's browser can reach localhost without a redeploy. A traffic inspector sits in the same window and shows what arrived, with request replay, saved mocks and fixtures, and snapshots that keep a public URL answering even after the laptop is closed. Access control, basic auth, custom domains and a CLI cover the rest, and a local MCP server lets an AI agent drive the whole thing. There is a free tier, paid plans for public URLs and teams, and a one-time lifetime licence. It needs macOS 12 or later.
