Yap Dictation is a native dictation app for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later. Hold Fn, speak, and release to insert text into the active app. Speech recognition and transcript history stay on the Mac. Initial model downloads, activation and periodic license checks require internet; after a successful check the offline license window lasts up to 24 hours, capped by trial or paid expiry. The signed, notarized app is publicly downloadable.
