About
CodeEdit is a native Mac editor with syntax highlighting, code completion, project-wide find and replace, snippets, a terminal, task running, debugging and git integration, built to Apple's interface conventions instead of wrapped in Electron. The aim is to stay as light as TextEdit and scale up toward Xcode only when a project asks for it. Free and open source forever, though still pre-1.0, so the team suggests test driving it rather than putting it in front of production work.
