Codeshot takes a snippet off the clipboard and gives back an image you can drop into a pull request, a blog post or a slide, with no screenshotting or cropping. It highlights 61 languages that it detects for you, offers 30 themes in a light and a dark variant, and sits the code on a macOS wallpaper, a gradient, a colour of your own or nothing at all. Corner radius, padding, shadow, traffic lights and the monospace font are all yours to set, and the export locks to a ratio from 1:1 to 9:16 at 1x, 2x or 3x. A Shortcuts action and a Finder quick action produce the image without opening the app. One purchase covers the Mac and the iPhone.
