ColorSlurp
A colour picker that reads any pixel and copies it in the format you need.
FreemiumFree color picker; Pro $19.99/yr, covering Mac and iOSmacOS, iOS
About
ColorSlurp puts a magnifier over anything on screen and reports the colour underneath as HEX, RGB, HSL, LAB, OKLCH or a template you write yourself, so a value can be pasted straight into CSS, a design file or code. Picked colours go into palettes that can be organised, compared and exported, a contrast checker says whether a pair passes an accessibility threshold, and a generator builds a whole set from one starting colour. The companion iPhone app picks colours with the camera and shares the same palettes, and the editor lets a colour be nudged by wheel, sliders or hex before it is copied. The picker is free and needs macOS 14.6 or later; the Pro subscription adds the palette tools, projects and exports.
