DisplayBuddy brings the settings a monitor normally hides in its own on-screen menu into the menu bar: brightness, contrast and volume for each external display over DDC/CI, plus input switching, turning a screen off, resolution, rotation and colour profile. Displays can be grouped so one slider moves them together, and any combination can be saved as a preset and applied by hotkey, widget, Shortcut, Control Center or a schedule, which is how two monitors get dimmed at night without touching either one. It is a one-time purchase with no subscription, and the tiers differ only in how many Macs the licence covers. It needs macOS 12 or later.
