About
Crisp is a menu bar panel for managing external monitors, offered as a free alternative to BetterDisplay and Lunar. It turns on sharp HiDPI scaling for monitors that look blurry or undersized, with fine scaling steps and full refresh rates, and controls real hardware brightness and speaker volume over DDC. Extra Brightness pushes XDR and HDR panels past 100%, and saved presets restore resolution, brightness and arrangement in one click. It also handles virtual displays, disconnecting screens, color profiles, Night Shift and True Tone, and ships a crispctl command line tool. Needs macOS 14 or later.
