Cosmil

About

Cosmil replaces Finder with a window you can shape: split it into as many resizable panes as the screen allows, each showing its own folder, and drag files between them the way a two-pane file manager should work. Cut and paste moves files instead of copying them, transfers queue up in a job manager that can be watched and paused, and search understands filters rather than only file names. Tabs, a favourites sidebar, folder trees, image previews with metadata, remote locations and a translucent look round it out, along with a conflict dialog that shows both files before anything is overwritten. It is a one-time purchase with no subscription and no telemetry, and it needs macOS 14 or later.
