FileNav

About

FileNav is a file manager for people who came from Windows and still press Enter expecting a file to open. Enter and F2 work the way they always did, cutting and pasting files is real rather than a copy you have to delete afterwards, the address bar accepts a typed path, and the folder tree stays visible down the side instead of hiding behind a favourite list. Underneath those habits it is a proper Mac file manager: tabs, dual panes, back and forward, Quick Look, batch rename, folder compare, regex search, and a disk usage view for finding what filled the drive. A trial runs everything for 14 days with no account. It needs macOS 12 or later.
