VoxelWall is a native macOS live wallpaper engine: instead of looping a video file, it analyses the audio your Mac is already playing and redraws one of 37 original 3D scenes with Metal in real time. It reads local system audio only, so nothing is uploaded and no Apple Account or browser extension is involved, and it works with anything that makes sound, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and local files. Scenes can run as a desktop wallpaper, on the lock screen (macOS 26 or later) or in an Energy Saver mode that plays a prepared loop without live analysis. In-app controls cover recent scenes, rotation, search and preview of installed wallpapers, plus per-scene response, intensity and motion speed. It suits people who want a moving desktop or a room-filling visual without a subscription.
