About

Fovea is a native Mac app for the step after a photoshoot: going through hundreds of shots and keeping the good ones. Import from an SD card or a folder and start culling right away, before image analysis has finished. Space keeps a photo, X rejects it, M marks it as maybe and U undoes, and each decision jumps to the next shot, with RAW and JPEG pairs reviewed as one. Kept photos get non-destructive edits such as exposure, white balance, crop, tone curve, HSL and color grading, plus local adjustments with automatic subject, background or people masks. The library is an ordinary Finder folder sorted by date, with collections, tags and place filters, and exports go out as JPEG or TIFF. Everything runs on the Mac. Needs macOS 26 or later on Apple Silicon.
