Unfumble

About

Unfumble solves the mistake every bilingual Mac user makes: typing a sentence in the wrong layout and getting a line of gibberish. It watches what you type, recognises the words that only make sense in another keyboard layout, and rewrites them in place, without you touching the globe key. Fourteen layouts are covered, including Greek, Cyrillic, Arabic, Hebrew, Thai, Armenian, Georgian and Hindi, and because it reads the keystrokes rather than the field there is a pause option for the apps where you would rather it stayed quiet. Everything runs on the Mac, with no account and nothing sent anywhere. It needs macOS 13 or later.
