About
Codenotch pins a small black notch to a screen edge and shows how much of each coding assistant's usage limit you have burned. Rings cover Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Antigravity, GLM, MiniMax, QianwenAI, DeepSeek, Grok, OpenCode, Command Code, GitHub Copilot, Kimi and Kiro, alongside local models running in Ollama or LM Studio. Hover a ring for its limit windows and when they reset, and watch a session's state change as it runs, finishes or waits on you. Every provider declares how it knows: an official endpoint, a reading derived from the vendor's own app, or a plain count, and a failure shows up as stale or needs-auth instead of an invented number. Codenotch borrows the sign-ins the tools already have on your Mac rather than asking for new ones, keeps the last good reading across launches, and can send the same percentages to an iPhone or Android over a local-network link you pair with a QR code. The signed and notarized DMG updates itself, and a Windows port shares the design and providers. Open source under MIT. Needs macOS 15 or later.

A menu bar that does more: provider cards, a waiting dot, your choice of width, order and click. Plus Spanish, Higgsfield, and rings ordered by what is about to expire.
Mac
- Provider cards in the menu, with a Detail switch per card.
- Waiting and done in the menu bar: a red dot when an agent waits for your reply, a blink when it finishes, and a deeper working pulse.
- The menu bar, your way: its own group in Appearance — show what is left, how much each reading prints, sort by what is left, and what a click does.
- Order rings by burn deficit: manual, most remaining, or quota that would expire unused first.

Show what is left instead of what is used, a Dock style, oMLX, and Claude and Codex on your own servers.
Mac
- Show remaining instead of used: rings and figures count down what is left. Rings can shut when a window is spent and order themselves by what remains.
- Remote hosts and Muse: Claude and Codex accounts on servers you reach over SSH, and Muse.
- A Dock style: the notch floats just clear of the screen's edge.
- oMLX: loaded models, phase and queue, speed, context fill and a daily token count.
- Breathing working indicator, optional, in the provider's colour.
- Enterprise spend forecast: whether the monthly limit lasts until it resets.
- OpenCode activity on Custom Endpoints, Grok Bot's weekly usage, DeepSeek off-peak all day on Chinese public holidays.
- Gentler Claude retries when rate limited.
- Fixes: notches come back on external displays after sleep, Claude sessions nobody has open are left out, legacy Perplexity entries pruned, less redrawing with the notch always shown and on pointer moves.
Windows
- The notch folds over full-screen apps and stays on the screen's edge.
- The spend limit an Enterprise seat reports.
- agy's numeric time zones, the Z.AI key from GLM_API_KEY, configs saved with a byte-order mark, and no stale Claude arcs after a failed sign-in.
1.22.0Qoder's credits, more than one Command Code account, and DeepSeek's balance from the wallet that has one.
Qoder's credits, more than one Command Code account, and DeepSeek's balance from the wallet that has one.
- Qoder. A ring for your Qoder credits, international or China mainland, signed in once inside Codenotch — nothing is copied from your browser.
- More than one Command Code account. Each ~/.commandcode-name folder signed in with Command Code is its own ring, the way Claude and Codex profiles already are.
- DeepSeek's balance from the funded wallet, not the first currency listed.
- Українська, up to date on both platforms.
Windows: a reset card for any provider's renewed quota window, the hover card stays above a flat-edge pill under page zoom, and agy 1.2.16's local reset times are read.
1.21.0Custom endpoints speak Anthropic and Gemini, llama.cpp shows its speed, and Antigravity reads without the IDE open.
Custom endpoints speak Anthropic and Gemini, llama.cpp shows its speed, and Antigravity reads without the IDE open.
- Anthropic and Gemini custom endpoints. A custom endpoint can now be an Anthropic or a Gemini API as well as an OpenAI-compatible one, with its models found for you.
- llama.cpp, with its own mark and its speed. The official icon, and its generation speed and how many requests are running and waiting.
- Antigravity without the IDE running. With the IDE closed, Codenotch starts Antigravity's own language server to read your quota.
- OpenCode, whichever version. Usage and activity are read from both the 1.x and the 2.x database.
- Endpoints over Tailscale. A plain http endpoint at a 100.64.x.x address is now reachable.
- 简体中文 and 繁體中文, filled in.
Windows: carry the notch by six dots beside the settings button, and the Grok token is renewed before it lapses.
